Case study Footprint Friends
Brief: Footprint Friends visit schools and attend exhibitions getting young people to paint artwork on their feet. Their foot is then photographed and uploaded to the online gallery on the Footprint Friends website. The brief was to create a mobile unit for an exhibition to engage young people aged 10 to 18 years in environmental debate online at www.footprintfriends.com
Solution: We wrapped a smart car with graphics and placed two computers with an internet connection in the boot so kids could access the website. They could sign up to the site, view/comment on their foot art and debate in the forum. To reduce the waste we did not had out flyers, which usually end up on the floor, instead once the kids had painted their feet and signed up to the site they received a wrist band and sticker.
